Student trips to Rome
The Eternal City
The heart of the Roman Empire, the seat of the Roman Catholic Church and a style capital for 21st century aesthetics, Rome has many faces from many ages.
Founded in 753 BC, by 120 AD Rome’s population had grown to over one million, reflecting the city’s vital importance and the power its Empire had achieved.
The decline of the Roman Empire and the invasion of the Germanic tribes had a dramatic and traumatic impact on the city, yet Rome rose again during the Renaissance.
Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and many others created a new principal in art and architectural expression.
The great monuments of an ancient civilisation, the artist treasures of the Renaissance and the vibrant cosmopolitan élan of a stylish contemporary capital, all combine to make Rome a superb destination for an educational trip
Equity has selected a range of excursions for college and university trips that ensure students get the most of what Rome has to offer.
