Film & Media student trips to Paris

Paris has been the backdrop for innumerable movies and television shows. It has a vibrant domestic television and film industry and a history of film making that dates back to the earliest years of cinema. An Equity educational tour of Paris provides Film and Media students with an insight into many aspects of the city’s creative culture.

The Cinémathèque Française holds one of the largest archives of films and film memorabilia in the world and shows daily screenings of international films. In addition the Rex Cinema is the largest in Europe and hosts backstage tours.

Equity also provides students with the opportunity to attend the ECU Independent Film Festival, an annual showcase of the best and most innovative film from around the world. Students can even submit their own coursework to be showcased at the event.
