fashion in London

Fashion & textiles student trips to London

London is one of the four fashion capitals of the world along with Milan, New York and Paris. Whatever the fashion - street, high street or haute couture - London leads and others follow.

Itineraries are tailored to suit your study requirements with a range of excursions to choose from. One is a walking tour of East London’s shops, warehouses, design studios and markets, meeting young designers and seeing the creativity and functionality that drives both the mainstream and the latest street fashions.

Another trip is to the Fashion and Textiles Museum, established by seminal British designer Zandra Rhodes, housing striking and influential pieces from the 1950s onwards. Then there is The Design Museum, exhibiting the best in international contemporary design.

An Equity fashion and textiles educational trip provides students with an appreciation of the world of couture and the inner functioning of the fashion industry.
