Art & Design student trips to Paris
Few cities have an artistic pedigree as strong as Paris. It has attracted and inspired the greatest creative talents for centuries.
The list of sites for an educational tour to visit is almost unrivalled: the Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Musée Picasso, Musée Rodin and the Centre Pompidou. Together they house many of the most important works in the world.
Paris is synonymous with chic, and design icons can be seen everywhere. Its architecture spans many epochs and walking the Parisian streets exposes students to an array of styles: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Haussmann, Art Nouveau, Contemporary… some of the buildings will be world famous, others simply part of the cityscape.
A litany of famous names also firmly link photography to Paris: Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau and Man Ray to name but three. Stroll the streets and see famous backdrops, visit the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, the centre for contemporary photographic art or simply use Paris as inspiration for your own images.
