Art & Design school trips to Berlin

Berlin is a city that is defining artistic innovation. It has an incredibly strong community of home-grown talent, but also attracts creative spirits from around the World. Not simply a studio for the new, Berlin also has a wealth of artistic treasures, making it an ideal place for Art Design and Photography students to visit on an educational tour.

The excursions Equity offers include a street art tour to see the latest additions to the city’s vibrant scene, and then a workshop at the studio of a local artist. There are also visits to several of Berlin’s many galleries and art museums housing collections of the greatest Renaissance works, pieces from the Dutch Masters and exhibitions of various 20th century movements.

Students can see modern and contemporary art at the Deutsche Guggenheim, Munch, Picasso and Kandinsky at the Neve Nationalgalerie or visit the Alte Nationalgalarie for 19th century sculptures and paintings.

The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery encapsulates the city’s artistic, political and historical essence: just over a kilometer of Wall remains, its eastern face covered by works from numerous artists.
