Art & Design in Barcelona
Barcelona is an ideal destination for students of Art & Design, with its vibrant cosmopolitan and cultural atmosphere. Students will be inspired by our unique educational visits to the city's great open air art displays and wide range of museums and galleries. Students will gain an incredible educational experience with some of the world's most renowned names, such as Gaudi, Joan Miro and Picasso to name but a few.

The beautiful Catalan city of Barcelona is the home of Antoni Gaudí, a visionary modernist architect and the best-known representative of Catalan Modernism. His work has left its mark all over the city including the World famous Sagrada Familia and his wonderful project, Park Guell. This tour allows students the opportunity to visit and marvel at these fascinatingly imaginative and interest examples of his work.

Modernist Architecture Walking Tour
Explore Barcelona’s world renowned modernist architecture during your 2 hour walking tour of the Quadrat d'Or or Golden Square area of the Eixample district, which is quite literally an open-air museum and is an exceptional area of “modernista” Barcelona. This interactive and flexible walking tour often leaves visitors speechless with wonder.

Mosaic Class
Students attending our mosaic class will have a unique opportunity to try their hand at the art form that sets Barcelona apart from other cities – the mosaic. These wonderful mosaics can be seen on the streets, walls and buildings all around Barcelona. Courses are run and supervised by designer Martin Brown who has previously been commissioned for pieces by well known clients such as Versace, Cartier and Citibank.
- A variety of tailor made classes to suit each groups needs
- Direct method glass mosaic as well as trencadis or broken tile mosaic
- Students can keep their work upon completion of the course
- Excellent cultural activity to complement the study of Gaudi and the architecture of beautiful Barcelona
