Student trips to Amsterdam
Venice of the North
Amsterdam is beautiful, vibrant, tolerant and energetic and the perfect destination for student tours. It is cosmopolitan: people from over 180 different nationalities have chosen to call it home. Known for its canals, of which there are 165, it is also a city of green spaces, with more than thirty parks and gardens.
The striking architecture of tall genteel buildings in the city centre was born out of the seventeenth century Golden Age of Dutch commerce. Yet it is not just a monument to yesterday’s achievements; today Amsterdam is a successful city of diverse businesses. It is also a city that balances commerce with art, home to an energetic and inventive creative community and some of the most prestigious museum collections in the world.
Amsterdam is one of the top 25 safest cities in the world. It is eminently walkable and famously bicycle friendly. Getting around is a pleasure.
