'We believe that learning outside the classroom is an essential part of education'
We have been taking young people around the world since 1933, which is why we are the best at what we do. We deliver educational tours, music and performing arts experiences, ski trips and sports tours. In 2014 we rebranded merging Equity with our sisters companies: School Travel Service (STS), Pavilion Tours, UK Connection and SkiPlan. Our rebrand was more than just a new logo, it was a commitment to ‘enhance the lives of young people through experiences that inspire'.
David Campbell, Managing Director of Equity, believes that school trips are an important part of a well-rounded education, complementing classroom teaching:
“We appreciate that the organisation of a school trip is a substantial investment of time and energy on the part of those who lead them, but we know the rewards are worth it. Whether you measure success in terms of a pupil’s passion for the subject or their engagement on return to class, or their growth in confidence and independence, the opportunity to experience the world outside the classroom is an important component of a well-rounded education. It is very rewarding to be a part of a company whose purpose is to provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences to young people.”
